Nayantara Brand Ambassador Of Pothys

Nayantara, the biggest newsmaker and ultra gorgeous actress of south Indian cinema has signed her first endorsement deal for a record price.

She has become the Brand Ambassador of designer collection of Pothys, one of the biggest textile showrooms in south. The actress who has never done any advertisements so far has been politely refusing umpteen offers that came her way as she believed that people should come to the theatres to watch her. She did not want to dilute her exclusivity and aura around her, a strategy which worked to her advantage.

But now it seems she has changed her strategies and has signed this deal. The actress was not available for comment but sources close to the textile shop says: “ Nayantara is the biggest brand in all the four major southern states, where we have showrooms. She will be endorsing our Diwali 2010 collections of designer sarees and with the festival of lights around the corner; we want to cash in on her popularity and reach among family audiences”. The buzz is that the ad will be shot by ace cameraman Ratnavel (of Enthiran fame) and directed by Shankar who is director AL Vijay’s assistant.

Court case against Nayanthara & her brother in law!

Actress Nayantahara acted in Tamil film by name Aegan last year with Ajith. The film created a controversy when its posters were deemed too vulgar for even an ordinary man.

This has irked the sentiments of several people and one Mr. Nagaraj has filed a petition in the Criminal Court seeking action against Nayan, Raju Sundaram, the theatre owner Sridharan and the producer.

The case was closed recently due to lack of evidence. Following this, Nagaraj has filed a fresh petition seeking a re-investigation against Nayanthara, Ajith and Raju Sundaram. The court has ordered the police to re-investigate and submit a report soon.

Incidentally the director of the film, Raju Sundaram, is now slated to become her brother in law after she marries Prabhu Deva!

Nayanthara vulgar posters causes problem

Nayanthara  and Ajith had starred in Aegan, which was directed by Raju Sundaram. This film was released in the year 2008. When this film hit the screens in Kerala, posters of Nayanthara  in vulgar poses were displayed in several prominent places. This has irked the sentiments of several people and one Mr. Nagaraj has filed a petition in the Criminal Court seeking action against Nayan, Raju Sundaram, the theatre owner Sridharan and the producer.

The case was closed recently due to lack of evidence. Following this, Nagaraj has filed a fresh petition seeking a re-investigation. The court has ordered the police to re-investigate and submit a report soon.

Politician laughs at Nayantara!

Recently Tamil Nadu deputy chief minister, MK Stalin, had the opportunity to watch Nayanthara’s movie ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ which would be dubbed into Telugu as ‘Nene Ambani’ in another few weeks. And while watching the movie, he was seen laughing and couple not help praising Nayanthara and Arya for making his laugh to his heart’s content after a long time! He said that films like these work like stressbusters and every person should see this novel movie!

“I didn’t know that Nayanthara could act in such a comical movie. And Arya is just awesome” he said.

Nayanthara wants to be Miss Idiot

Actress Nayanthara has been one of the top-charting actress of past couple of years and went down suddenly with a below average performance in her career graph. It was all due to her personal problems and now the actress is trying to make a great comeback in Kollywood.

The actress has pinned all her hopes on upcoming Tamil release ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ that features Arya in lead role. The actress believes that her role will be completely impressive and has more probabilities of winning her great offers.

And then, there’s interesting news about the actress that is trying to perform the role of Kareena Kapoor in the Tamil remake of Vijay’s ‘3 Idiots’. The actress is also preparing herself to look fit for the role even before the offer could approach her.

But, it looks like Vijay isn’t interested over pairing with her due to the controversies, she has been bounded to.

Nayantara Behind Bars In Bangalore

Finally she had to succumb to her fate. Recently out of imprisonment, Nayanthara has been flaunting away her experiences behind bars in an Ashram in Bangalore. Yeah! Very much true, I could never believe the moment my ears sucked the issue. Shocking, but true! Nayan was behind bars in her latest movie ‘Mathilukalkkappuram’.

Heart fluttering Nayan is all in her nerves to portray her skills for the movie. ‘Boss endra Baskaran’, ‘Electra’ and another lead with Upendra are few of her picks at the moment.

Contrastingly, the girl has refused the remake of ‘Bodyguard’ along with Salman as the hero, and as ever shun off Jayam Ravi too!

Nuts! I say this female is absolute nuts! Who would never want to show off glamour and hallmark fame and delight? Sensuous Nayan is a little meek and promptly acting off to show that ‘she was and will never assume a chic look’.

Whatever the case might be, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi (I don’t know further), Nayan will be the ‘good’ types and has forbidden bringing too much romantic possessions along with her.

‘Mathilukalkkappuram’, how about that? Has it something to do with the director Adoor Gopalakrishna or the producer–actor Mamooty?

I demand a serious vow before I tell you this. A promise not to burst in heaps and mountains of laughter.. “Nayan is working towards an award-winning film.”

Promises are never meant to be broken.
