Anil Kapoor to take Shakira in his next flick as guest appearance: Producer Anil Kapoor has vowed to leave no stone unturned for his home production No Problem that boasts of a huge star cast including Sushmita Sen, Akshaye Khanna, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu and Anil himself. Now the actor-turned-producer is trying to rope in the Waka Waka singer Shakira for a special appearance in a film’s song.
Good for us. After seeing Kylie Minogue doing Chiggy Wiggy in Blue, watching Shakira’s hip-swaying will be no less a visual delight. But getting Shakira is a big feat and Anil is using his hard-earned star power to do the unattainable. He has reportedly spoken to Andre in Wizcraft to speak to her.
Actually the music director of the film Pritam has composed a song on the lines of Shakira’s Hips Don’t Lie. So getting the buxom Latino will just add to the USP of the film. Anil is quite kicked about the idea of getting the singer for the song.

Shakira proudly play as goddess Kali in Bollywood film?: : Latin American pop sensation Shakira is set to
play goddess Kali in an Indian film that will be shot in London and
another European city.
The buzz has it that the film titled Kali - The Warrior Goddess will be
produced by Karan Arora.
Arora reveals that the movie will be made in 3D. It will be a 2-hour
long film in Hindi language. He goes on to add that the ‘Waka Waka’
singer has agreed to play goddess Kali in the film, but she still has to
sign on the dotted line.
Shakira’s acting fee for the film is apparently being worked out.
If the project indeed materializes, it would be the first time a foreign
artist would play an Indian goddess in a Hindi film. Arora said he
chose Shakira because she’s dusky and has an international appeal.

Shakira has launched her new fragrance, ‘S by Shakira’, which she claims to be as unique as her own songs.
Shakira, the newest addition to Hollywood’s roster of celebrity perfumers, has bottled her famous sex appeal for her new fragrance.
“The type of women who feel a connection with this fragrance would be independent and strong, but also a woman with a great capacity to love and a strong sense of who they are. It’s for a woman who believes in herself,” People quoted her as saying.
The Grammy Award winner has collaborated with Puig to explore her delicate side with a scent that exudes simplicity, sensuality and self.
The fragrance’s signature notes are bright jasmine, sandalwood and an oriental dream housed in a luminous bottle that evokes an oriental dancer.
“Like one of my songs, I wanted S by Shakira to tell a story, and to be something personal and unique. A perfume has to really reflect something inside you, make you connect with it in an emotional way,” she added.
‘S by Shakira’ will hit shelves in September, with prices ranging from 17 dollars to 35 dollars.
But from the sound of it, Shakira is looking for a cadre of hit scents to join her platinum records, exclaiming, “S by Shakira is only the beginning!” (ANI)
