Musician Mandolin Rajesh has said that his marriage with Meera Jasmine will not be delayed anymore and it was up to Meera to make that decision whether she wants to act or not post wedding.

Participating in a television programme along with his illustrious brother Mandolin Srinivas, Rajesh confirmed his relationship with the actress. “Our parents have supported Rajesh’s decision”, said Srinivas.

Though there were reports in the media that the actress and the musician have been going steady for quite some time, this is perhaps for the first time for Rajesh to comment on his relationship with Meera at a public forum.

It is said that the lovers would enter wedlock soon with the blessings of elders from both the families. “It is unlikely for Meera to act post marriage. However, she will make a decision soon”, sources say.

Four Friends will feature a remix of 'Ye Dosti..' from the movie Sholay

Noted Malayalam filmmaker Saji Surendran's forthcoming Four Friends will feature a remix of the classic song 'Ye Dosti…' from the legendary Hindi movie Sholay. The remix will be composed by music composer M. Jayachandran.

Starring Jayaram, Jayasurya and Kunchacko Boban in the lead, the film has veteran Kamal Haasan marking a comeback to Malayalam films after 23 long years. National awarding winning actress Meera Jasmine is the heroine. The film is scripted by Krishna Poojappura and produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under the banner of Mulakupadam Films.

Following the likes of his co-stars like Prithviraj, who has recently floated a production firm with ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan, National award winning actress Meera Jasmine is also thinking on the similar lines now.

The actress who is in the sets of her new movie ‘Four Friends’ will shortly turn a producer by creating a movie under her own production firm.

The actress who has earlier expressed her intentions to become a director someday, had already started discussions with her peers about her first film as a producer. The details about the cast and crew of her first movie will be announced soon.

Saji Surendran's 4 Friends Started Rolling | Four Friends Movie Review | Saji Surendran's Four Friends

The magic team of writer Krishna Poojapura and director Saji Surendran after the super hit Happy Husbands are together again with Four Friends.

Two of the earlier team members Jayaram, Jayasurya are being joined by two new friends Kunchacko Boban and Meera Jasmine in this all new entertainer.

Jayaram plays a Manager in a Multinational, Chackochan is a final MBA student, Jayasurya is a local rowdy and Meera Jasmine is an MBBS student who does not mix with others. How all the four meet and bond is what Four Friends are about.

The shooting of the film produced by Tommychin Mulakupadam is started in Alapuzha from July 16. Later the unit will be flying to Singapore and Malaysia for further shoot. The others in the supporting cast are Suraj Venjaranmoodu, Salim Kumar, Lalu Alex, Ganesh Kumar and Seema.

Pen Singam review

Kalainyar Karunanidhi’s previous releases had more vitality over literature based arenas and it wasn’t really a convincing show for the present age audiences. It looks like; it’s the time now as Kalainyar recognizes the importance of commercial values. ‘Pen Singam’ has the blend of Kalainyar Karunanidhi’s aesthetic touch of dialogue with commercial ingredients. But again, it’s a mediocre as the dialogues and style of presentation faintly reminiscences the yesteryear work ‘Paasa Paravaigal’ of the same author.

An honest forest officer by nature, Surya (Udhay Kiran) falls in love with his sweetheart Megala (Meera Jasmine), who aspires to become an IPS. And then, there is yet another parallel line of a Tamil rhetorician, who makes his student Prabhavathy (Sudarshana Sen) fall for him with his socially activating speeches. Soon they get married as a conflict breaks open when the true colors are exposed. Instantaneously, Prabhavathy is murdered and Surya is framed for the act. Now it’s up to his mother (Rohini), a judge, who gets down to advocate for him and his ladylove Megala to prove of his innocence and trap the real culprit.

The film has lots of dialogues that turn to be major constraint as the youngsters may not like after a certain extent. However, the middle aged groups may have some regards for the same aspects as they have lots of reasons to admire the lengthy lines. The filmmaker has somehow managed to insert the commercial elements like Vivek’s comedy tracks, the cameos of J.K. Riteesh and Rambha that are mediocre.

Nothing special to mention about the technical aspects as they stumble down badly on all vistas…

The musical score by Deva is same as before and cinematography lacks clarity at many places.

The best part in this film is good casting as every actor breathes lives into the character they have performed.
Pen Singam review

Meera Jasmine can wait for awards as she emotes with her earnest efforts and her performance is flawless. Richard looks slightly doubtful on his mannerisms at certain points while Udhay Kiran does as instructed.

‘Alladista’ hitting screns on June 18th

Uday Kiran, Meera Jasmine’s bilingual film ‘Alladista’ is set to hit theaters on June 18th. This movie has been made with the story provided by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. Music composed by Deva is one of the main attractions. Songs canned at New Zealand and the special song by Lawrence and Lakshmi Rai are said to be the visual treat to the audience. Vijay Raghavan handled the camera. ‘Alladista’ is a romantic action entertainer on forest backdrop directed by Bali Srirangam and produced by K Rohit under Masses Rishi Productions banner.

'Alladista’ is a bilingual film starring Uday Kiran and Meera Jasmine as lead pair is being made in Tamil and Telugu respectively. Directed by Srirangam, the story of this film is provided by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. K Rohit is producing the Telugu version.

It’s a love story of a forest officer and a girl who aspires to become an IAS officer. The director claims that the story provided by CM Karunanidhi is the main strength of the film. Major part of shooting was done in the forest. The song involving Lawrence and Lakshmi Rai is the highlight. Revathy and Rambha are playing vital roles. The producer informed that the audio will be released shortly and the film in June.

‘Alladista’ is a romantic cum action entertainer that has dialogues by Venkat Malluri, music by Deva, lyrics by Vennelakanti, camera work by Vijay Raghav and editing by V T Vijayan.
