The buzz is that when the duo meet, sparks fly left, right and centre. Common friends of both actors say that cupid struck after they did couple of films together and they spend time with each other at hot spots in the city.

The actress who is on a high after two releases Vande Mataram the long delayed bi-lingual in Tamil and Malayalam where she shared screen space with Mammootty and the other was Shikar in Malayalam with Mohanlal.

When asked about the rumours of her affair with Prassana, the actress denies and says: "I have been linked to other actors in the past. Earlier I used to make a hue and cry about such reports. However now I'm quite chilled about these stories in the grapevine, as this is part and parcel of being in the showbiz."

The actress is all excited about her next release Bhavani IPS a remake of yester year heroine Vijayshanthi's Vyjayanthi IPS. Says Sneha: "It is my first full length action packed film, in which I have done some daring action scenes."

He is one of the busiest persons in Indian cinema. He is a dancing legend, an actor, director, and a top choreographer.

Everyone knows that the reticent Prabhu Deva is also a man in love but has stayed away from making any sound bytes, interviews or even clarified media reports.

Throughout his career, he has never discussed or spoke about his personal life even when his “affair” with top actress Nayanthara was doing the rounds.

For the past one year, ever since Nayan acted in Villu a film that Prabhu directed, much has been written about their relationship and media has been working overtime especially after Nayan tattooed Prabhu’s name on her wrist. But either Prabhu or Nayan did not comment on their relationship nor deny it.

In this first ever exclusive interview to sify.com, from Malshej Ghat near Mumbai where he is shooting for Urumi, Prabhu Deva opens up

How is the shooting for Urumi progressing?
The shooting is going on briskly and we all are enjoying it. I will be completing this schedule and will be off for the song shoot of the Jayam Ravi-Hansika film that I am directing. The title will be changed from Ich and I will be announcing it soon.

The media has been writing in detail about your affair with Nayanthara. But you have so far refused to talk about it or acknowledge the relationship. Why ?
Throughout my career the media has been writing a lot of things about me, but I have never bothered to react or call a press meet to clarify or issue a denial. As far as Nayanthara is concerned she is special. Yes I am in love with Nayanthara and we will be getting married soon. It’s a personal decision and I don’t like to talk about it to the media. Basically I’m not comfortable opening my heart out to the media.

The grapevine has it that Nayan has quit acting to settle down with you. Please comment?
She’s very contrary to the glam image that you see. She’s a home bird, very simple. Any man who is in love would like to spend more time with his woman . I am no different and there is no meaning in both of us being busy and having no time for each other. She had a beautiful innings and I know very well that she is a top actress who is much in demand.

What is that one defining change that Nayan has brought in you?
(Smiles) It’s not one, there are many. She has stood by me in my difficult times and her support was like an oasis in the desert.

Earlier I was a short-tempered person but now my assistants and friends say that I have mellowed down a lot (Smiles). She is a very strong person and has made me like her. She has taught me how to love each other unconditionally and how to carry myself in public. She is a wonderful human being and I find everything about her lovable.

Hyderabad police have arrested South Indian Telugu film actresses Saira Banu and Jyothi in connection with prostitution on August 23, 2010 Monday. On the early hours of Monday, the Hyderabad police busted the racket at Spring Heaven Apartments in Begumpet, Hyderabad,where these two were caught red handed with their customers along with one woman belonging to Uzbekistan.

Commissioner of Police AK Khan said that since past few days they were having their eyes on several suspects of drug consumption that included these actresses as well.

 

For Saira Bhanu, her name was also featuring in the phone list along with Trisha of the Uganda Nationalist Victors phone book in connection with drugs. And for Jyothi, she married an NRI few years back and quit films. But she came back into Telugu movies recently and was now caught red- handed.

 

The police believe that some rich as well as some famous people are involved in this racket, as the locality that was raided has houses of many Ministers, bureaucrats and other eminent personalities. Though, the officials have not revealed anyone else’s identity as of now.

Poongodi says that she has not got married secretly

Poongodi has donned the female lead role in the films Maayandi Kudumbhathar, Goripalayam and Milaga. Poongodi is a Malayalam actress and is studying in a college in Trivandrum. In between there is news that Poongodi got married clandestinely.

When asked Poongodi about this, she said,” I had applied leave in the college because I had to act for a long time. Since the college authorities complained, I am going to college without taking leave.

There is a news that I got married secretly to an assistant cameraman who was working in Milaga. There is no truth in this news.

My parents have lots affection and faith in me. I will not cheat them at any time. My marriage will take place in their presence and with their approval.”
