Karan Johar got the biggest shock of his life when Vishal Bhardwaj, director of the upcoming flick Saat Khoon Maaf approached him to enact a lovemaking scene with hottie Priyanka Chopra. Karan had to play the role of a psycho husband – a sex maniac of sorts – who beats his wife.

Karan is quoted as saying, “From what angle do I look like a wife-beater? And how could I enact a scene making love to Priyanka Chopra! And that too as a sex maniac! There is no way I could do this.”

On hearing the script, Karan, without thinking for a second, said no and the role went to Irrfan Khan.

Lol! I wonder how a sensitive director like Karan Johar look like, beating his wife.

The lady is big in demand! She is already on board for Karan’s next Short Term Shaadi, and is also wanted for Aamir’s next film to be produced by Farhan Akhtar. Both the films will start from February 2011 and Kareena can’t decide which movie to select and which to dump. Obviously, she wants to work in both.

It’s learnt that Bebo has already committed dates that Aamir Khan’s film needs to Karan’s Short Term Shaadi, opposite Imran Khan. In fact, she was finalized for STS before Aamir’s film was offered to her. But then, saying no to Aamir’s film can be a big loss for her and a good gain for any of her contemporaries. According to sources, Aamir has also in his mind Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif for the film.

On the other hand, KJo can’t delay his film, he has made adjustments for Imran - who is getting married on January 11 - for Short Term Shaadi, and any further delay can create problems for the whole production team.

As for now, Bebo is tensed and confused, because both Karan and Aamir are close to her. What she should do? Any suggestions!

Shah Rukh Khan has decided he will be part of every Karan Johar production in some capacity or the other. In I Hate Luv Storys Shah Rukh did a small voiceover. Unfortunately he couldn't be accommodated anywhere in We Are Family although SRK was quite adamant to feature somehow.

“Ek photo hi daal do kisi shot mein, ” he kept urging Karan.

Not one to give up even when his wish has gone way past its fulfillment phase SRK barged in sportingly at a media meet with Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal and insisted on conducting an interview with the pair…

“Just as a good luck charm, ” as SRK put it.

On Wednesday afternoon SRK just decided to drop in at the venue of the interview and said, “Even I am part of the family. So I'm joining them to promote the film.”

Director Siddharth Malhotra can't get over the magic of the moment. “It is such gestures that make Shah Rukh who he is. It is his ability to make people feel special that makes him the superstar and the King.”

Siddharth had entered the media meet when he saw an exceptional bustle at the venue. He jokingly asked what the clamour was about.

“SRK aa gaya kya? I asked sarcastically. Imagine my surprise when someone turned around and said that's precisely what has happened and that SRK was doing an interview with Kareena and Arjun for my film.”

One now hears that SRK will make his presence felt in all of Karan Johar's films on one way or another.
