The Ghajini gal is not on any of these sites. Rather it’s the imposters who have taken on her name and post messages regularly to fool gullible browsers.

"I am not on Twitter. There are some fake profiles and people actually believe that it's me but that's not really me. I am not on Twitter or Orkut or any social networking site. May be in future but I am not on it right now,” Asin is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Perhaps it’s high time she joined the web world.

The actress Asin says that she not on Twitter. The asin_thottumkal account is fake account, who are interacting with her fan base with fake handles on her name and people actually believe that its really me but that’s not me.

I am not in Twitter or any other social networking sites. May be in future but i am not on it right now the actress said.

A stalker on twitter was making life miserable for Shriya Saran by starting a fake account in her name.

Says Shriya: “The guy was constantly monitoring my movements and tweeting, which after a point made me scared. At times I was wondering whether he is behind me.”

Finally a close friend came to Shriya’s rescue and asked her to start her own Twitter account and start tweeting. Her friends advised her – “ It is the best way to beat the counterfeiter at his own game, and later get it verified, so fans across the globe will know that it is a true account.”

When contacted, Shriya said: “My real Twitter id is : @shriyasmiling. I’m glad that I have now started my own Twitter account. I hope this will stop the fake in misusing my name.”
