Maestro Ilayaraja has completed recording eight songs for veteran director Bapu’s magnum opus – mythological film titled Sri Ramarajyam starring Balakrishna in the lead role. Legendary singers S P Balasubramaniam and Chitra sung the songs while for the first time Shreya Ghoshal shared a song with Chitra for this flick. Jonnavittula and Vennelakanti wrote all the eight songs composed by the maestro. This is the second time that director Bapu and Ilayaraja coming together after their earlier musical hit - Mantrigaari Viyyankudu .
Sri Ramarajyam is all set to begin the shoot from November 22nd and Yalamanchali Saibabu is producing it. Mullapudi Venkata Ramana has provided the script based on Valmiki Ramayanam. The movie is to be made with high technical standards and national award winning technician Kamal Kannan who worked for Magadheera would be overseeing CG work.
