SRK's Ra.One is a Sci-Fi gaming flick: Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Bachchan's recent release The Robot has becomes a tension for the Ra.One makers and team. The Robot which, is a trilingual film, is still doing a great business after one week of it's release.
Shahrukh Khan had called for a meeting with his Ra.One team and they have decided to make the film the first-ever interactive gaming flick. A source was quoted saying that the movie’s climax will allow the viewers to play the Ra.One game in the theaters while watching the movie. This will be the first time when a viewer will participate in the cinema, through a game, while, watching the movie.
They have also decided to add drama and emotions to this superhero movie as they believe that without it, the film won’t appeal to the Indian audience.
The source further confirmed that the reason behind Robot’s success is that it has combined emotions and drama with special effects.
The meeting was held on Sunday, at Shahrukh's bungalow ‘Mannat’. The director Anubhav Sinha, producer Shahrukh and Oscar winner sound recordists Resul Pookutty prepared some vital strategic ideas after their heated debate. They decided to make it a full-fledged gaming movie.
Sound designer Resul Pookutty was quoted saying that it is the greatest challenge to balance between two clearly different worlds of gaming and movies. It added that the team is trying hard to make the film different from any other super hero film.
