Kareena Kapoor to playing Heroine confirmed but when?: Kareena Kapoor has refuted reports that she has walked out of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine.
"I'm definitely doing Heroine, whenever Madhur starts the film," Kareena told HT.
Kareena, however, was doubtful that production of the film will start in December as widely reported. She pointed out that Madhur is currently busy with Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji and will start working on the Heroine script once he wraps the current project.
Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji is slotted for release on January 21, 2011.
Heroine is loosely inspired by the life of Marilyn Monroe and tells the story of a contemporary talented Bollywood actress who lives a troubled life with numerous romantic linkages.
Madhur says that like his earlier films, Page 3 and Fashion, Heroine will be a slice-of-life offering that will reveal "the underbelly of the industry and its well kept secrets."
The protagonist in the film gets involved with five different men and Kareena is reported to have reservations about how those relationship are portrayed.
According to rumors, she has asked for the lovemaking scenes to be edited out of the script. One of her relationships is with a married Bollywood star with two children, something Kareena is not happy about since it parallels her real life relationship with Saif Ali Khan.
Kareena rubbishes the rumors pointing out that since Madhur hasn't completed the script she could hardly be asking for edits. Which sort of makes sense.
